The Crescent City Blues Rugby Club was established in 2014 dedicated to the development and promotion of rugby football in the greater New Orleans area. The Blues compete in the Robert Markel Cup (RMC) in the fall and True South Division III in the spring.

Blues Rugby is focused on providing a competitive, yet social, environment for those who are new to rugby, seasoned veterans, and everyone in between. The club is a strong believer in inclusion for all and providing a positive environment through constructive coaching for all skill levels, community investment, and social events. Not only are the Blues a competitive rugby team but also a thriving social club for those that want the culture and comradery but not the contact.
